Welcome!
I’m a journalist with a focus in environmental, health and science journalism and a background in broadcast.
Currently, I am freelancing, and always looking for story ideas--I am based out of Chicago for the time being, but I love to write about all things science and am willing to travel for a story.
My work can be found in Mongabay, Chicago Health Magazine, Caregiving Magazine, NPR Illinois, Michigan Public, Great Lakes Now, Circle of Blue and more.
My radio experience includes production at WBBM Newsradio, hosting at WVIK News, Quad Cities NPR and reporting at WKAR Public Media. For my on-air work in the Quad Cities, I won two awards from the Iowa Broadcast News Association. Previously, I assisted with copy-editing medical manuscripts and promoting research on social media at the Spartan Medical Research Journal.
